I built this because I kept checking my rack

I love my SeaSucker Talon rack, but I didn’t like worrying whether the vacuum mounts were still holding. So I built Kraken Rack Monitor to give me real-time visibility while I drive.

How It Works

1. Attach Device

Attach the device under the rack using the double-sided tape. No tools needed.

2. Attach Sensors

Attach the sensors and magnets on the rack also using double-sided tape.

Attach the rear sensor using the elastic strap. The sensor can easily be detached when removing the rack.

3. Attach Rear Sensor

Open the app, flip the power switch on the device, and it connects automatically via Bluetooth.

  • Kraken Rack Monitor is designed specifically for vacuum-mounted racks. The current version supports the SeaSucker Talon 1-Bike Rack.

    Support for additional vacuum rack models will be added in the future. If you’d like to use Kraken Rack Monitor with a different rack, you can request support (without obligations).

  • The built-in battery lasts up to 24 hours of continuous use on a single charge. Recharge fully in up to 3 hours via modern USB-C (charging cable not included).

  • Yes. Kraken Rack Monitor can run in the background, so you can use navigation, music, or other apps while monitoring your rack. You’ll receive alerts if a mount’s pressure drops below the safe level.

    However, background operation can be affected by your phone’s operating system and power-saving settings. For the most reliable monitoring experience, it’s recommend to keep the Kraken Rack Monitor app active whenever possible.

  • Kraken Rack Monitor is manufactured in small batches and shipped directly from Sweden.

    At the moment, shipping is limited to the United States to keep logistics, shipping times, and support manageable. Additional regions may be added in the future.

  • Orders shipped to the United States may be subject to import duties, taxes, or handling fees, depending on local regulations.

    Any such fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included at checkout.

  • Kraken Rack Monitor includes a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and hardware failures under normal use.

  • Yes. If you’re not satisfied, you can return the product within 30 days of delivery, provided it’s in original condition. Shipping costs are not refunded.
